II. Installation

This theme requires a working version of WordPress to be installed on your server. You should always run the latest version of WordPress. If you don't have a WordPress installed on your server, please follow the steps below to install it :

Step 1 : - Go to WordPress.org and download the latest version of WordPress.

Step 2 : - Create a Database for WordPress on your web server and a MySQL user with all privileges for accessing and modifying the database.

Step 3 : -Upload the WordPress files in the desired location on your web server.

Step 4 : - Run the WordPress installation by accessing your website in a web browser.

Installing WordPress

1. Installing Theme

To use Elisa Theme, you need to install WordPress first, if you don't have any knowledge how , follow the ways below:

1.1 Using FTP

There are two ways you can install the Multix-X theme. You can choose to install it via FTP, which is what will be outlined in this article, or via WordPress. If you are going to install the theme using FTP, you will need an FTP Client, such as FileZilla.

Please, follow the steps below to install the theme via FTP :

Step 1: - Unzip the "elisa.zip"

Step 2: - Log into your site via FTP

Step 3: - Browse to wp-content/themes

Step 4: - Upload the elisa theme folder.

Step 5: - Log Into Wordpress and go to Appearance - Themes

Step 6: - Find the 'Elisa' and click activate

1.2 WordPress Upload

Step 1: - Unzip the "zip" file you've downloaded with theme, you'll find "elisa.zip" inside

Step 2: - In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance » Themes » Add New

Step 3: - Then click on Upload Theme button to select theme.

Step 4: - Then click on Browse and Go to the Package folder and select Theme. Press Install Now button to install the theme.

Step 5: - Theme has been installed. Click on the Activate Button to activate the theme.

2. Install Plugins

Once you activate Elisa Blog, you will be redirected to our Welcome Screen. You’ll find a prompt to install Elisa’s required plugins. Click here to learn how to install Elisa’s required plugins.

In Your Dashboard click Begin installing plugins. Or navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins

Follow these step to installing and active all plugins.

3. Make Your Website Like Demo

We had a lot of demos so you can choose the demo that matches your goal. Theme builded 1 click import demo data so you can make your website like demo easy

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Import Data and choose demo that you want and click Import Demo.

III. First Step

2. Upload Logo

Theme Support two logo type is Logo image and Logo text and you can change easy In Your Dashboard Please Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Header, Logo, Menu > Logo

Logo Image
  • Logo Type: Select What logo type you want
  • Main Logo : Upload Your Logo image
  • Max Width: Max Witdh of logo that you want
  • Max Hieght: Max Hieght of logo that you want
  • Logo Position: Select position of logo
  • Padding top: Put padding of logo with top header
  • Padding Bottom: Put padding of logo with bottom header

Logo Text
  • Logo Type: Select What logo type you want
  • Logo Text : Put Your Logo Name here
  • Slogan: Put Your Slogan
  • Logo Font: You can change Logo Font
  • Slogan Font: You can change Slogan Font
  • Logo Color: You can change Logo Color
  • Slogan Color: You can change Slogan Color
  • Logo Position: Select position of logo
  • Padding top: Put padding of logo with top header
  • Padding Bottom: Put padding of logo with bottom header

3. Setup Menu

There are 2 pre-defined menu locations. Primary Menuand Footer Menu.

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Menus

Step 1: - Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2: - In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Menus

Step 3: - Select Create a new menu at the top of the page.

Step 4: - Enter a name for your new menu in the Menu Name box.

Step 5: - Click the Create Menu button.

Your menu is now defined, and you can now add pages to it (steps below).

Adding Element to your menu

Add page, Post , category or custom link to menu, you click choice what element you want to add after click "Add to Menu" button and Save Menu.

For additional menu features, click on the "Screen Options" tab in the top-right corner of the Menu page. Here, you can add the option of linking directly to a Post or specific Tag within your navigation menu. You can also check the box next to "Link Target" to give yourself the option of having menu items open in an entirely new tab when clicked.

Assigning a Menu to a Location

Step 1: - Go to Appearance > Menus and click Manage Locations.

Step 2: - Assign each Theme Location with a menu. You can assign menus to multiple Theme Locations.

Step 3: - Click the Save Changes button.

- Go to Appearance > Customize > Header, Logo, Menu Setting.

  • Menu Background: Edit menu background color.
  • Background Image: Click select image and set image background for menu.
  • Sub Menu Background: Edit sub menu background color.

  • Main Menu Font: Custom font for menu.
  • Sub Menu Font: Custom font for sub menu.
  • Menu Color: Pick color for menu.
  • Menu Hover Color: Pick color for menu when hover.
  • Sub Menu Color: Pick color for sub menu.
  • Sub Menu Hover Color: Pick color for sub menu when hover.
  • Sub Menu Border Color: Pick border color for sub menu.

4. Setup Header

Theme built more header template and options to you can build your header easy In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Header > Header Setting

  • Header Layout:You can choice Header Is Full Width Or Boxed
  • Background Color: You can set background color for Header
  • Background Image: You can set background image for Header
  • Turn on Header Sticky:Checked if you want use header sticky
  • Hide Social: You can hide Social here
  • Hide Search: You can hide Search here

5. Setup Footer

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Footer Setting

  • Instagram: You can go to Customize -> Footer Setting
  • Bottom Footer : Go to Customize -> Footer Setting
  • Footer Logo : You can set Logo for Footer
  • Content Left:You can Content Left
  • Content Right: You can Content Right
  • Background: You can set background image for Footer

6. Setup Home Page

Your homepage is the first page visitors will see when they arrive at your website. By default, the homepage will be the page that also displays all of your posts.

Here you can choose your homepage's post layout and enable/disable elements

  • Templates: You can choose what post templates you want
  • Title & meta align: Set title and meta align
  • Posts Per Page: How many posts you want to show per page
  • Excerpt Length: Set content length of post show in home page and put empty if show all
  • Paging: Here you can set Paging style ( Number, Next & prev Or Load More )
  • Hide Description: enable/disable Description
  • Hide Author: enable/disable Author
  • Hide Category: enable/disable Category
  • Hide Date: enable/disable Date
  • Hide Comment: enable/disable Comment
  • Hide Share Facebook: enable/disable Share Facebook
  • Hide Share Google plus: enable/disable Share Google plus
  • Hide Share Twitter: enable/disable Share Twitter
  • Hide Share linkedin: enable/disable Share linkedin
  • Hide Share Pinterest: enable/disable Share Pinterest

7. Sidebar

A sidebar is a vertical content area that displays to the right of your main content/post area. You customize your sidebar by stacking up different widgets that display a variety of things.

Enabing / Displaying The Sidebar

- Appearance > Customize > Sidebar Settings. Here, you can choice Sidebar left or Right

- Style settings.

  • Sidebar Background: You can set background image for Sidebar.
  • Turn off Border: Hide border for Sidebar.
  • Border Color: You can pick border color for Sidebar.
  • Border Size: You can pick border size for Sidebar.

- Font settings.

  • Title Font: Customize widget title font.
  • Title Color: Set widget title color.
  • Footer Title Color: Set widget title color for Footer.
  • Content Color: Set widget content color.
  • Link Color: Set widget link color.

- Advance settings.

  • Turn Off Smart Sidebar: If you tick this will disable smartsidebar.
  • Margin per element: Distances between components.

Add widget to sidebar

Appearance > Widget. Here, you can customizing Sidebar.

- Drag available widgets in right side and drop to sidebar in left.

8. Add Social Network To Header & Footer

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Social Network

IV. How To's

1. Create a page

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).

Step 2: Click the 'Page' tab.

Step 3: Click the 'Add New' sub-tab.

Step 4: As needed, add tags, fill in the meta setings below the editor.


Step 5: Use Page setting to custom page.


Step 6: Publish or Preview.

Step 1: Click the 'Page' tab and 'Add New' sub-tab.

3. Create a Post

has the possibility to create 6 different types of posts: Standard, Image, Quote, Gallery,Aside, and Video.

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard)..

Step 2: Click the 'Posts' tab.

Step 3: Click the 'Add New' sub-tab.

Step 4: As needed, select a category, add tags, fill in the meta setings below the editor.

Step 5: Select post format on the right hand side and fill in the meta settings below the editor.

Step 5: It is important to upload a featured image for your post.

2.1 Post Format

2.1.1 Standard Post

A standard post is the default post type.
You can add text and images to your post using the tools and content box.


2.1.2 Video Post

A video post displays a video at the top of your post. You can share videos from nearly all video hosting sites, such as Vimeo or Youtube. Simply copy & paste the video's URL, oembed code, or embed code into the special input box. When you preview or publish your post, the video will appear.


2.1.3 Audio Post

A Audio post displays a audio frame at the top of your post.


2.1.4 Quote Post

An quote post A quotation. Probably will contain a blockquote holding the quote content. Alternatively, the quote may be just the content, with the source/author being the title.


2.1.5 Gallery Post

A gallery post allows you to create a slideshow-type gallery at the top of your post. After clicking the "Gallery" tab to choose this post format option, click the "Pick Images" button within the "Gallery Images" box that has appeared. Select whatever images you'd like from your WordPress Media Library.


2.1.6 Overight default setting

- Edit or turn on/off title.

- Setting components current page.


4. Create a Category

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).

Step 2: Click the 'Post' tab.

Step 3: Click the 'Categories' sub-tab.

Step 4: Add name and select category parent.


Step 5: Click Add New Category or press Enter.


5. Add Slideshow

Add slider show

- Go to customize -> Slider show.

  • Turn Off Slider show : Checked if you want hiden slider show.
  • Slider Show Type : You can choice what you will show ( Page, Post Or Custom link ).
  • Add Slider Items :Where you can add slider show item to slider show.

- Some Advance Setting:

  • Hidden Category : Checked if you want hiden category.
  • Hidden Author & Date : Checked if you want hiden author & date.
  • Hidden Caption : Checked if you want hiden caption.

6. Add Featured Post

Featured Post. These boxes allow you to draw special attention to any post, page, or general URL you'd like.

- Select Appearance > Customize > Featured Post

  • Turn off Featured Post : if you want hide it.
  • Add item to Featured Post : Here you can add image, link and title for per Featured Post.

7. Change Font

Typography

The theme allows you to change font settings easily. You can choose between Default settings and Custom Google Web Fonts. If you are using Google Fonts, then all you need to do is select the type from the button set, and then select the font family from the provided customize.

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Typography

- Post / Page title: Set font family and font weight for post, page title.


- Post Title Of Blog: Set font size and line height for post title.


- First Post Title Of Blog: Set font size and line height for First Post title.


- Single Post / Page Title: Set font size and line height for single blog, page title.


- Heading: Set font family and font weight for all heading tag in single page.


- Body: Set font family, size, weight and line height for paragraphs.


- H1 - H6: Set font family, size, weight and line height for H1 - H6 tag.


8.Create Contact Page

The theme allows you to create a contact page with plugin contact form.

- First you need install plugin Contact Form 7. ( See how to install plugins. )

- Create a contact form. ( Getting Started with Contact Form 7 )

- Get contact form shortcode.


- Create a new page and paste contact form shortcode wherever you want.


- Insert info contact page.


9.Custom 404 Page

The theme allows you to create and custom a error page.

1. General Settings

  • Site Layout: Setup layout for page ( Boxed or Fullwidth ).
  • Sidebar: Set sidebar position ( Left or Right ).
  • Background Color: Change site background color.
  • Background Image: Change site background image.

  • Hide Tags: Hidden tags in single post.
  • Hide Recent Post: Hidden Recent box in single post.
  • Hide Author Box: Hidden Author box in single post.
  • Hide Comment Box: Hidden comments in single post.
  • Hide Share Facebook: Hidden share Facebook in single post.
  • Hide Share Google plus: Hidden share Google plus in single post.
  • Hide Share Twitter: Hidden share Twitter in single post.
  • Hide Share Linkedin: Hidden share Linkedin in single post.

5. Page Setting

You can set up default setting for all page in customize
In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Page Setting

  • Layout : Setup layout for page
  • Other Checkbox : Hidden article of page
