II. Installation

1. Wordpress Installation

This theme requires a working version of WordPress to be installed on your server. You should always run the latest version of WordPress. If you don't have a WordPress installed on your server, please follow the steps below to install it :

Step 1 : - Go to WordPress.org and download the latest version of WordPress.

Step 2 : - Create a database for WordPress on your web server and a MySQL user with all privileges for accessing and modifying the database.

Step 3 : - Upload the WordPress files in the desired location on your web server.

Step 4 : - Run the WordPress installation by accessing your website in a web browser.

2. Installing Theme

To use iBlog Theme, you need to install WordPress first, if you don't have any knowledge how , follow the ways below.

There are two ways you can install the theme: Install Using FTP and WordPress Upload :

1.1 Using FTP

There are two ways you can install the iBlog theme. You can choose to install it via FTP, which is what will be outlined in this article, or via WordPress. If you are going to install the theme using FTP, you will need an FTP Client, such as FileZilla.

Please, follow the steps below to install the theme via FTP :

Step 1 : - Log into your server installation via FTP.

Step 2 : - If you have downloaded the Full Theme Package, please unzip the master iBlog.zip file and then unzip the secondary iBlog.zip file which will give an iBlog folder.

Step 3 : - Upload the extracted iBlog folder to the wp-content > themes folder on the server. Make sure the folder name is -> ‘iBlog’.

Step 4 : - Log in to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Themes and clicking the ‘Activate’ button, for the iBlog theme.

Step 5 : - Once you activate iBlog, you will be redirected to our Welcome Screen. You’ll find a prompt to install iBlog required plugins.

WordPress Installation

1.2 WordPress Upload

There are two ways you can install the theme. You can choose to install it via WordPress, which is what will be outlined in this article, or via FTP. In order to download the theme files package, please log in to MOJO Marketplace. Go to the My Purchases page. Hover over the Download button and you will get a few options to download: Demo Data, Help File, Child Theme, Theme Files and License. Click the Theme Files button.

Step 1: - Unzip the "zip" file you've downloaded with theme, you'll find "iblog.zip" inside

Step 2: - In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance » Themes » Add New

Step 3: - Follow the instructions on the screen, select the zipped theme folder ( "iBlog.zip" on your download files)

Step 4: - Click Install Now and the theme will be uploaded and installed and click the Activate button.

3. Install Plugins

Once you activate iBlog, you will be redirected to our Welcome Screen. You’ll find a prompt to install iBlog required plugins. We also recommend several free plugins that we use on our demos, but these aren’t required and you can install them only when necessary. Click here to learn how to install iBlog required plugins.

In Your Dashboard click Begin installing plugins

Or navigate to Appearance > Install Plugins

Follow these step to installing and active all plugins.

4. Make Your Website Like Demo

Before running the importer, make sure that you have installed and activated the required and recommended plugins. You will see a message at the top of your dashboard if you have not yet done so.

III. First Step

1. Upload Logo

Theme Support two logo type is Logo image and Logo text and you can change easy In Your Dashboard Please Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Header, Logo, Menu Setting > Logo

  • Logo Type: Select What logo type you want
  • Main Logo : Upload Your Logo image
  • Max Width: Max Witdh of logo that you want
  • Max Hieght: Max Hieght of logo that you want
  • Logo Position: Select position of logo
  • Padding top: Put padding of logo with top header
  • Padding Bottom: Put padding of logo with bottom header

Logo Text
  • Logo Type: Select What logo type you want
  • Logo Text : Put Your Logo Name here
  • Slogan: Put Your Slogan
  • Logo Font: You can change Logo Font
  • Slogan Font: You can change Slogan Font
  • Logo Color: You can change Logo Color
  • Slogan Color: You can change Slogan Color
  • Logo Position: Select position of logo
  • Padding top: Put padding of logo with top header
  • Padding Bottom: Put padding of logo with bottom header

2. Setup Menu

There are 2 pre-defined menu locations. Primary Menuand Footer Menu.

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Menus

Step 1: - Login to the WordPress Dashboard.

Step 2: - In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Menus

Step 3: - Select Create a new menu at the top of the page.

Step 4: - Enter a name for your new menu in the Menu Name box.

Step 5: - Click the Create Menu button.

Your menu is now defined, and you can now add pages to it (steps below).

Adding Element to your menu

o add page, Post , category or custom link to menu, you click choice what element you want to add after click "Add to Menu" button and Save Menu.

For additional menu features, click on the "Screen Options" tab in the top-right corner of the Menu page. Here, you can add the option of linking directly to a Post or specific Tag within your navigation menu. You can also check the box next to "Link Target" to give yourself the option of having menu items open in an entirely new tab when clicked.

Assigning a Menu to a Location

Step 1: - Go to Appearance > Menus and click Manage Locations.

Step 2: - Assign each Theme Location with a menu. You can assign menus to multiple Theme Locations.

Step 3: - Click the Save Changes button.

  • Menu Background: Edit menu background color.
  • Background Image: Click select image and set image background for menu.
  • Sub Menu Background: Edit sub menu background color.

  • Main Menu Font: Custom font for menu.
  • Sub Menu Font: Custom font for sub menu.
  • Menu Color: Pick color for menu.
  • Menu Hover Color: Pick color for menu when hover.
  • Sub Menu Color: Pick color for sub menu.
  • Sub Menu Hover Color: Pick color for sub menu when hover.
  • Sub Menu Border Color: Pick border color for sub menu.

3. Setup Header

  • Background Color: You can set background color for Header
  • Background Image: You can set background image for Header
  • Turn on Header Sticky:Checked if you want use header sticky
  • Hide Social: You can hide Social here

4. Setup Footer

In Your Dashboard Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Footer Setting

  • Instagram Number Photo Show : Set number instagram display on Instagram.
  • Footer Style: You can go to Customize > Footer Setting > Footer Style
  • Footer Content: You can go to Customize > Footer Setting > Footer Content.
  • Footer Logo: You can set logo footer iamge.
  • Copy Right: Content section copy right bottom footer.
  • Advance Setting : Go to Customize > Footer Setting > Advance Setting and you can add Content

5. Setup Home Page

Your homepage is the first page visitors will see when they arrive at your website. By default, the homepage will be the page that also displays all of your posts

  • Paging: Here you can set Paging style ( Number, Next & prev Or Load More )

6. Sidebar

A sidebar is a vertical content area that displays to the right of your main content/post area. You customize your sidebar by stacking up different widgets that display a variety of things.

Enabing / Displaying The Sidebar

- Appearance > Customize > General Settings. Here, you can choice Sidebar left or Right


- Font settings.

  • Title Font: Customize widget title font.
  • Title Color: Set widget title color.
  • Title Border Color: You can pick border color for widget title.

- Advance settings.

  • Turn Off Smart Sidebar: If you tick this will disable smartsidebar.
  • Margin per element: Distances between components.

- Drag available widgets in right side and drop to sidebar in left.

1. Create a page

Step 1: Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).

Step 2: Click the 'Page' tab.

Step 3: Click the 'Add New' sub-tab.

Step 4: As needed, add tags, fill in the meta setings below the editor.


Step 5: Use Page setting to custom page.


Step 6: Publish or Preview.

Step 4: As needed, select a category, add tags, fill in the meta setings below the editor.

Step 5: Select post format on the right hand side and fill in the meta settings below the editor.

2.1 Post Format

2.1.1 Standard Post

A standard post is the default post type.
You can add text and images to your post using the tools and content box.


2.1.2 Video Post

A video post displays a video at the top of your post. You can share videos from nearly all video hosting sites, such as Vimeo or Youtube. Simply copy & paste the video's URL, oembed code, or embed code into the special input box. When you preview or publish your post, the video will appear.


2.1.3 Audio Post

A Audio post displays a audio frame at the top of your post.


2.1.4 Quote Post

An quote post A quotation. Probably will contain a blockquote holding the quote content. Alternatively, the quote may be just the content, with the source/author being the title.


2.1.5 Gallery Post

A gallery post allows you to create a slideshow-type gallery at the top of your post. After clicking the "Gallery" tab to choose this post format option, click the "Pick Images" button within the "Gallery Images" box that has appeared. Select whatever images you'd like from your WordPress Media Library.


2.1.6 Overight default setting

Typography

The theme allows you to change font settings easily. You can choose between Default settings and Custom Google Web Fonts. If you are using Google Fonts, then all you need to do is select the type from the button set, and then select the font family from the provided customize.

The theme allows you to create a contact page with plugin contact form.
